On May 6th 2008 our brand new Pre-School-the 'Barna-Bus'- was launched for local children aged 2-5.
The Pre School is supported by Surestart and the Pre-School Learning Alliance Wholly owned by S. Barnabas' Church, it is run with an inclusive ethos. Children of all backgrounds will be welcomed aboard, to share in a journey of learning and love.
The Pre-School is monitered by OFSTED and satisfies all safety requirements. Children over 3 join FREE via the Government Coupon Scheme. For all others sessions cost £7.50 but those in particular financial hardship may be eligible for a subsidy.
We can now announce that Pippa Anderson has been appointed Head of our Pre-School. Pippa has previously worked as a child minder, school worker and professional secretary. Being calm, compassionate and highly organised makes her the ideal person to take this venture forward- we are absolutely delighted to have her onboard! |
