| At S. Barnabas' we do not believe that children are the Church of tomorrow- we believe they are the Church of today. We consider ourselves to be blessed by their presence amongst us - and try to support them in all they do. Sunday School Our Sunday School meets during the first part of Mass. At the end of Mass the children rush forward to join in the singing of the Angelus- before lighting candles and saying some prayers. All Sunday School teachers at S. Barnabas' are police checked. We want to create a safe environment within which children can flourish. We want them to be safe as they learn more about the Christian faith. |

| Heavenly Father We thank you for the children which you have given to us. Help us to train them in the faith So that as they advance in years, they may grow in grace and remain a vital part of your church family. We ask this in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen |
