The Lady Chapel is where we celebrate Holy Hour & Mass on Marian feasts. It is here we reserve the Blessed Sacrament ready to be taken out to the sick and housebound. Jesus is truly present here. As we pass the sacrament we genuflect- a sign of our reverence to the awesome presence of Jesus - in the mystical form of his body and blood.
Oh God, who in a wonderful sacrament has left us a memorial of your passion; grant us, we beseech you, so to venerate the sacred mysteries of your Body and Blood, that we may ever perceive within ourselves the fruit of your redemption. Amen. |
